Stand-up comedy The new Theatre in the Park venue continues to break new grounds in the arts sector since it re-opened its door to the public with new exciting programmes since the end of March.
After hosting a number of productions including one from Bulawayo and Zambia during the month of April the curtain will come down in style by hosing three Zimbabwe most sort after stand-up comedians Doc Vikela, Prosper Ngomashi (The Comic Pastor) and young Kadem (The Komik ) live on stage at Theatre in The Park new venue.
This will be the first time the three comedians stage a show together at the new Theatre in The Park stage and have promised fireworks to comedy lovers and want to use the new stage to grow their fan base.
It will also be the first time for Komik and the Comic Pstor will intimately interact with their fans on this stage.
As for celebrated stand-up comedian Doc Vikela this won’t be the first time on the new stage as he had the feel of it when the venue was officially opened end of March.
Doc Vikela said they decided to bring the stand-up show to Theatre in
The Park because of the ambience and intimacy that it brings between the comedians and the audience.
Recently Doc Vikela was nominated among Africa’s top ten comedians to watch this year.
“The venue is what every artist has been waiting for and familiarity
between the audiences gives one the confidence to perform to the best
of your ability.

Prosper Ngomashi is popularly known as the comic pastor.
He started performing stand-up comedy under the Simuka comedy banner in 2014 and is so popular on social media with over 70 000.
